Ladies and Gentlemen! I am so very glad that you came to visit our site! Robert Walker and I co-founded this wonderful group of people, right out of a long running jam session! This is one of the most positive groups of people I have had the pleasure to know ~~ Our mission statement tells you what we are shooting for, the pictures will show you what a diverse group we are, and the bio's and links and sound clips will show you who we are! We'd love it if you would join us, in our events, and in our membership...we are a very social group of folks!

I love music... it's conception, it's birth, it's growth, it's roots in all cultures, and the many diverse branches of it's sounc. The California Pop and Jazz Council is a group of individuals dedicated to elevating the public's perception of the value of the rich cultural heritage of American pop and jazz music, to improve and enhance the quality of performances rendered by this genre's musical artists, and to help foster and create environments which will support these goals and purposes.
